JOHNNY KEATHLEY
CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Mr. Johnny Keathley, 69, of Garrett Fork of Chapmanville, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 3, 2012, at his home after a short illness surrounded by family.
Born February 22, 1943, in Kentucky, he was a son of the late Joe and Hazel Salisbury Keathley.
Mr. Keathley was a retired employee of Amherst Coal Company, a member of the UMWA District 17 and of the Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mary Lou Mathews Keathley; one daughter, Diana (Kobie) Coburn of Garrett Fork; four sons, David (Willa) Keathley of Scottown, Ohio, Michael (Melissa) Keathley of Willow Wood, Ohio, Mark (Tina) Keathley of Lavalette and Joey (Becky) Keathley of Garrett Fork; eight grandchildren, Chelsey Keathley, Jessica Keathley, Savannah Keathley, Johnathan Keathley, Ashley Coburn, Autumn Keathley, Hunter Keathley and Emily Keathley; seven sisters; two step-sisters and one step-brother.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, August 6, at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. John E. Godby officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
