KATARIA HURLEY

MAN, W.Va. — Ms. Kataria June Hurley, 26, of Man, formerly of Mill Creek, went home to be with Jesus Sunday, August 5, 2012, at Trinity Nursing Home at Williamson.

Born October 3, 1985, in Logan, she was a daughter of Angela Dawn Baird of Greenview and Dewayne Hurley of Mill Creek.

Kataria attended Pecks Mill Methodist Church and Accoville Methodist Church. She was a proud graduate of the West Virginia School for the Blind in Romney. The family wishes to thank the Logan County DHHR Medical Surrogate, Rescare Agency Staff and the Logan Mingo Mental Health Staff for their help and support that made possible Kataria’s participation in the Logan County Special Olympics and Bowling League.

Other survivors include her grandmother, Patricia Vankovich, grandmother, Josephine Hurley and great-grandparents, Loveada and Virgil Baird, all of Mill Creek; uncle, Ryan Vankovich of McConnell; aunt and uncle, Margie and Stanley Ferguson of Wheelersburg, Ohio, and many other family members and friends.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, at the Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Ken Connelly officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
