Body identified as Logan man

HUNTINGTON (AP) — State Police say a body found inside a vehicle at a store parking lot in Huntington has been identified.

Sgt. G.N. Losh says 37-year-old Jimmie Lee George had recently moved from Logan to Huntington.

The Herald-Dispatch reports George’s body was found Thursday inside a vehicle in a Walmart parking lot along U.S. Route 60. Losh says surveillance video indicates the vehicle had pulled into the parking more than 36 hours before the death was reported.

Losh says a preliminary investigation indicates George may have died from a drug overdose. Losh says there were no signs of foul play and the body has been sent to the state medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
