SEMINOLE, Fla. — Donald Ray “Don” Cline, 74, of Seminole, Fla., passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009.

Mr. Cline was born in Baisden. He served overseas in the Marine Corps for three years in the 1950s, and moved to Florida in 1962 from Wheeling after graduating from West Liberty State College with a Bachelors Degree in Education. He was a member of the Virginia Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. He taught at Blanton Elementary School in St. Petersburg, Fla., for 28 years and was an active member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Seminole. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Rose; four children; six grandchildren; one brother and one sister.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, February 24, at the Faith Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Faith Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice.
