MARCELLA SHOAF

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Marcella Mae “Marcy” Shoaf, 72, was received into the Kingdom of the Lord Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Mount Carmel Medical Center Palliative Care. Marcy retired from The Huntington National bank after 20 years in the Account Reconciliation Department. She was active for many years with AMVET Post 89 where she served as the Women’s Auxiliary President as well as other leadership positions. Marcy spent her retirement years traveling with her husband and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her close family and friends.

Preceding her in death was her loving husband of 50 years, Tom; parents, Carlos and Roma Jeffrey; brothers, Doug, Ralph and James Jeffrey, and brother-in-law, Ted Short, Sr.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary (Randy) Walker of North Carolina, Cindy (Jeff) Kerr of Lancaster, Ohio, and Amy (Frank) Tomera of Columbus; grandchildren, Amanda (Bo) Anders, Nick Walker, Tom Kerr and Tony Kerr; great-grandson, Joey Anders; her loving and devoted sisters, Nola and Betty; many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Dick (Betty) Shoaf of Texas, and sister-in-law, Lorene Jeffrey. Also to be remembered as constant and loving friends, Lillian and Skip Farmer, and Patty and Harold Billingsley. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today and Wednesday from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Road, where serviced will begin at 12:30 pm with Pastor Steve Biffle officiating. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery, Grove City, Ohio.
