GLEN ABBOTT

CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Glen E. Abbott, 61, of Chapmanville, departed this life Monday, August 20, 2012, at his residence.

Born February 9, 1961, in Logan, he was a son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Delia Mahone Abbott. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Jerry and Bob Abbott.

Glen loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and sports. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Glen was a special person with a big heart and will be greatly missed by all that loved him.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sisters, Linda (Fred) Adams and Joyce Strunk, both of Chapmanville, and two brothers, Billy (Pat) Abbott of Sissonville and John (Janet) Abbott of Chapmanville.

Private graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, at Abbott, Lambert, Frye Cemetery at Harts.

There will be no visitation.

Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
