MARGARET JAMES
KENNESAW, Ga. — Margaret Louise Lesher James, 77, of Kennesaw Ga.,went to be with her family in heaven Saturday September 1, 2012.
Born in Procious, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late William Grover Sr. and Lora Lee Baker Lesher. Also preceding her in death were her brothers Jennings, Harry, and William “Bill” Lesher Jr.; sisters, Lorene Wall, Francis Lesher, Glenna Mae Lesher and Joanne Lesher, and her husband, Kenneth James.
Margaret was an Air Force wife and for 23 years until her retirement several months ago she worked for Wellstar Health System.
Margaret, Nanny to her grandchildren, is survived by her son Kenneth E. and his wife Nancy Cheri Boone James, and their three children Ariel, Aaron, and Anna James, all of Thomasville, N.C.; her daughter Lora E. James Huntington and Lora’s husband and their two children, Benjamin “Ben” and Isaac Huntington of Woodstock, Ga; her sisters, Thelma Mitchell of Bluefield and Christine Jones of Jacksonville, Fla.; her sister-in-law, Joann Lesher of Columbia, S.C., and many nieces and nephews and very dear friends.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, September 6, at the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pineridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with Don Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow at the Pineridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the staff of Tranquility Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain for the most excellent care given to Margaret and her family during her stay there.
