BEULAH CAMPBELL

FISHERSVILLE, Va. — Beulah Jean Avis Campbell, 74, of Fishersville, Va., passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012, in the University of Virginia Hospital.

Born September 25, 1937, in Lyburn, she was a daughter of the late Burton and Beulah Pridemore Avis.

Mrs. Campbell was a devoted homemaker, and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Also preceding her in death was her husband, George Campbell; two children, John Campbell and Kimberly Davis, and a granddaughter, Brandy Monger.

Survivors include seven children, William (Stella) Campbell of Stuarts Draft, Va., Donna (Ronnie) Monger, Doug (Jennifer) Campbell and Jeff Campbell, all of Staunton, Va., Gary (Becky) Campbell of Spottswood, Va., Kay (Mike) Argenbright of Swoope, Va., and Pamela Campbell of Harrisonburg, Va.; a brother, John Avis of Kenova; two sisters, Betty Grover of Lavelette and June Avis of Waynesboro, Va.; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, in Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery at Swoope officiated by Rev. Don Cash.

Pallbearers were her grandsons.
