VERDUNVILLE — The Maryetta United Baptist Church will honor their pastor, Rev. Lonnie Gore, this Sun., Sept. 9, with a special service and dinner beginning at 10 a.m.
Guest speaker for the event will be Rev. Alvis Porter Jr. and special singing will be provided by the Maryetta Ambassadors. An appreciation dinner will follow the service.
Gore is married to the former Margaret Brescoach, the daughter of Lettie Brescoach. The couple has two sons, Bart (Lois) and Bret (Angie), and four grandchildren, Lindsey, Aley, Emily and Alex.
The public is welcome to attend the event.
