Scott walked away with the Cardinal Conference golf championship on Wednesday at the Twisted Gun Golf Course in Wharncliffe.
The Skyhawks had a 313 for the day, led by medalist Alex Boggs, who fired a 75.
Poca was second, Herbert Hoover third, Mingo Central fourth, Chapmanville Regional fifth, Wayne sixth and Sissonville seventh. Tolsia, the eighth member of the Cardinal Conference, did not compete.
Scott also got a 78 from Aaron Grant, a 79 from Sterling Chafin, an 81 from Chad Honeycutt and an 88 from Matt Dolan.
The Poca Dots had a 321 and were led by Travis Covert, who shot a 76 for the day. Alex Hamrick had an 80, Steven Loudermilk an 81, Evan Butcher an 84 and David Scragg a 98.
Herbert Hoover was third with a 360. Travis Gibson led the Huskies with an 86 and was followed by Matt Holstein’s 90. Tyler Braucher and Sam Teel each had a 92, while Nick Calvert had a 96.
Mingo Central was fourth with a 381. Garrett Bevins had an 85 to lead the Miners. Robby Harris had a 92, Dalton Hatfield a 100, Kyle Surber a 104 and Dakota Rawls a 110.
Chapmanville was fourth as the Tigers had a 387. Jacob Workman led CRHS with a 79. Second was Austin Frye, who had a 100. William Copley (102), Casey Vance (106) and Jacob Blevins (113) also competed for Chapmanville.
Wayne finished with a 407. Brett Justice led the Pioneers with an 87. Justin Crockett had a 100 and was followed by Brooke Smith (106), Rya Mills (114) and Austin Castle.
Sissonville finished in last place with a 410. The Indians were led by Taylor Schmeck’s 85. The Indians’ four other golfers were 100 or worse.
