Five years old — Madison Faith Mullins celebrated her fifth birthday on October 26, 2008, with a Halloween themed costume party with a host of family and friends and very special classmates attending. She was born October 27, 2003, and is the daughter of Gary and Brandy Mullins. She has a very special baby sister, Shelby Grace. Madison is the granddaughter of Mike and Rhonda Richards of Holden, the late Mark Vance, and Gary and Penny Mullins of Lowes Mountain. She is the great-granddaughter of Harry Bailey of Amherstdale, the late JoAnn Bailey, Hollie Mullins of Lowes Mountain, the late Virgil Mullins and Delma Rainwater of Jacksonville, Texas. She is a student in Mrs. Nagy’s Pre-K class at Logan Elementary.
Big sister announces baby sister — Madison Faith Mullins is pleased to announce the arrival of her baby sister, Shelby Grace. Shelby was born at 1:42 p.m. September 2, 2008, at CAMC Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Charleston. She weighed pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. They are the daughters of Gary and Brandy Mullins of Midelburg and the granddaughters of Mike and Rhonda Richards of Holden, the late Mark Vance, and Gary and Penny Mullins of Lowes Mountain. They are the great-granddaughters of Harry Bailey of Amherstdale, the late JoAnn Bailey, Hollie Mullins of Lowes Mountain, the late Virgil Mullins and Delma Rainwater of Jacksonville, Texas.
Three years old — Madison Faith Thompson celebrated her third birthday on December 16, 2008, with her family. She is the daughter of Eric and Charma Thompson of Rocky Branch Road and the granddaughter of Gary and Diana Thompson, also of Rocky Branch, and Billy and Connie Swims of Garrett Fork. She is the great-granddaughter of Madeline Thompson of Mill Creek, the late Eugene Thompson, and the late Arvil and Teresa Tackett of Lake. Madison was the winner of the Toddler Miss Pretty in Pink beauty pageant and attends Mountaineer Cheer Zone Gymnastics in Chapmanville. She has one brother, Jacob, who is a third grade student at West Chapmanville Grade School.
Fletcher-Codispoti to wed — Braydon Shaun McClung is excited to announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of his mother, Jennifer Lynn Fletcher of Switzer to Martin Leonard Codispoti of Logan. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. Arthur Fletcher of Ashford and Ms. Caren Bailey of Switzer. She is the granddaughter of the late Andrew and Lula Fletcher of Sarah Ann and Ms. Jeraldine Bailey of Switzer. Jennifer is a 1999 graduate of Logan High School and a 2003 graduate of Ralph R. Willis Vocational School where she earned a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She is also a 2008 graduate of Southern West Virginia Community College with an Associates of Science in Nursing degree. Jennifer is currently employed at Logan Regional Medical Center in the intensive care unit as a Registered Nurse. The prospective groom is the son of Mr. Leonard Codispoti and the Honorable Kelly Gilmore-Codispoti of Logan. He is the grandson of the late Bernard and Natalina Codispoti of Holden, Mrs. Eloise Gilmore of Logan and the late Fredrick Gilmore. Martin is a 2004 graduate of Logan High School and a 2008 graduate of Southern West Virginia Community College with an Associates of Science in Nursing degree. He is currently attending West Virginia University pursuing a Bachelors Degree. Martin is employed by Logan Regional Medical Center in the Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse. The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Maryetta United Baptist Church at Verdunville with Rev. Lonnie Gore officiating and a special prayer by Rev. Robert Nelson. A reception will follow immediately at Logan Middle School. Following a honeymoon in Tennessee, the couple will make their home in Logan.
