Nighbert ladies host ‘Girl’s Night Out’

The Nighbert Memorial United Methodist Church in Logan held its first annual “Girls’ Night Out” on Thursday, September 20, in the fellowship hall.

All the women and girls of the church were invited. Games were played and prizes given. Winner of the “Suzy Homemaker” prize was Jennifer Beckette and Betty Napier won the “Thoroughly Modern Millie” prize.

The girl’s enjoyed an evening of singing, joke-telling and fellowship, along with a buffet-style salad and dessert bar.

Those attending included Liz Slater, Karen Bradshaw, Anita McCoy, Elizabeth Reed, Ann Vickers, Anita Lanthorne, Jennifer Beckette, Susan Benson, Vivian Thompson, Ruby Mayo, Darlene Napier, Elnora Elkins, Nancy Kirkendall, Ernestine Sutherland, Pat Amburgey, Doris Zappia, Elizabeth Witten, Deana Morgan, Linda Coffendaffer, Shana Thompson, Julianna Bell, Lorraine Shkoukani, Vickie Dengler, Betty Napier, Cindy Bell, Adoree Stanley and Diana O’Briant.
