DALLAS, N.C. — Amber Shea Browning, 20, of Dallas, N.C., passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Bernard and Mary Browning, and an uncle, Larry Ellis.
Amber was a student at Gaston College, Lincoln Campus, and was a member of the Stanley Rescue Squad for four years, where she was a Certified Medical Responder.
Survivors include her parents, Greg B. and Regina Ellis Browning, of the home; a brother Gregory Browning II (fiancée Ashley Warren) of the home; her Nanny, Phyllis B. Hatfield and her Mamaw, Doris Ellis, both of Logan; uncles and aunts, Robert (Janet) Ellis, Kathy (Carl) Adkins, Eugene Filllutzi, De Anna (Roscoe) McKnight, Mary Ruth (Mose) Newsome, Joyce King, Carol (Eric) England, Ashley Rae Varney and Suzie; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special friends, Kenny and Shona Hager, Courtney Cohen, Nick Bright, and Daddy No. 2 Don Woodall.
A service to celebrate the life of Amber will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, October 11, in the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly with Rev. Patti Toler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
