SOUTH SHORE, Ky. — Sherner Gary McCloud, 57, of South Shore, Ky., passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at his residence on Beechy Creek.
Born October 27, 1954, in Logan, he was a son of the late Sherner and Bessie Workman McCloud. Also preceding him in death was an infant son; grandson, Caleb Ray Baldridge; seven other Baldridge souls and Sherner’s father and mother-in-law, Enoch and Elizabeth Adams.
Sherner was a retired coal miner and a veteran of U.S. Army, during Desert Storm.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Adams McCloud; one son, Sherner (Stephanie) McCloud of South Shore; one daughter, Stacy (James) Baldridge of Huddleston, Va., four sisters, Audra (Frank) Carter of Mud Fork, Mable Pritt of Charleston, Dorothy (Lee) Hatcher of Cleveland, Ohio and Brenda (Jess) Toney of Florida, and five grandchildren, James, Noah, Jason, Jamielynn Baldridge and Conner McCloud.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 11, at Roberson Funeral Home with Pastor John Hannah officiating. Burial will be in the Adams Cemetery at South Shore.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the services Thursday at the funeral hom.
