CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Mrs. Hazel Conley, 96, of Chapmanville, was born May 16, 1916, in Logan County, a daughter of the late Joe and Rose Dempsey Adams. She departed this life Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at her residence.


Mrs. Adams was a homemaker.


Also preceding her in death was her husband, Lacy Conley, on May 21, 1992; four sisters, Bambi Adams, Georgia Hager, Dixie Lucas and Pansy Conley; three brothers, Ora Adams, Okey Adams and Sherman Adams; one daughter Gency Conley, and grandson, Curley Belcher Jr.


Survivors include one daughter, Wilma (Curley) Belcher, with whom she made her home; one son, Tracy Conley of Chapmanville; one sister, Belva (Chester) Workman of Logan; four grandchildren: Brenda (Mickey) Chryssofos, Glenna Conley, Kathy Belcher and Bob Conley; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.


Services will be conducted on 2 p.m. Thursday, October 11, at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Ricky Conley officiating. Burial will follow in the Hager-Adams Cemetery at Chapmanville.


Visitation will begin hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.


Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
