Magistrate’s Court sees a variety of criminal charges

The Logan County Magistrate’s Court has arraigned many on a variety of criminal charges recently.

Those who have been arraigned included:

• Clayton Everett Brumfield Jr., 54, of Bruno, was arrested and charged with persons prohibited from possessing firearm, driving revoked for DUI, left of center, possession of a controlled substance, obstructing an officer x2 and fleeing vehicle on October 13 by Logan County Sheriff Deputies J.H. Brown III and Man Police Department Patrolman J.D. Thomas. He was released on a $7,500 bond.

• Vicki Lee Baisden, 43, of Dingess, was arrested and charged with transporting contraband into prison by West Virginia State Trooper R.L. Glaspell. She was arraigned on October 16 and was released on a $3,000 bond.

• Omar Valencia-Marin, 37, of Greenbelt, Md., was arrested and charged with DUI by Chapmanville Police Department officers D.J. Miller and J. Lyall on October 4. He was released on a $1,500 bond.

• Rush Bryant Dials, 24, of Williamson, was arrested and charged with grand larceny, conspiracy and no seatbelt by WVSP Tprs. J.B. Frye, C.D. Kuhn, P.A. Jones and S.A. Belt on October 4. He was released on a $5,000 bond.

• Rodney Woodruff, 25, of Omar, was arrested and charged with grand larceny, conspiracy, no insurance, driving suspended for non DUI and expired registration by WVSP Tprs. J.B. Frye, C.D. Kuhn, P.A. Jones and S.A. Belt on October 4. He is incarcerated in the Southwestern Regional Jail on a $20,000 bail.

• James D. Walls, 54, of Accoville, was arrested and charged with receiving/transferring stolen property, less than a thousand dollars by WVSP Tpr. T.D. Boggs. He was arraigned in Magistrates Court on October 4 and was released on a $1,500 bond.

• Jeremy Adkins, 26, of Accoville, was arrested and charged with receiving/transferring stolen property by WVSP Tpr. T.D. Boggs. He was arraigned on October 4 and released on a $1,500 bond.

• Jo Anne Adkins, 39, of Logan, was arrested and charged with false pretenses x2 by Logan County Sheriff Deputy D.E. Brown. She was arraigned on October 4 and released on a $3,500 bond.

• Kevin William Thompson, 33, of Whitman, was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to deliver, obstructing, expired motor vehicle inspection, no insurance and driving revoked for DUI on October 8 by WVSP Tpr. J.E. Garren. He was released on a $5,000 bond.

• Taryn Courtney Adkins, 24, was arrested and charged with obstructing, permitting DUI, and seatbelt violation on October 8 by WVSP Tpr. S.A. Belt. She was released on a $2,500 bond.

• Tony Franklin McCoy, 56, was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance, less than 15 grams on October 8 by WVSP Tpr. J.G. Honaker. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

• Benjamin Michael Ratliff, 21, was arrested and charged with burglary by LCSD J.H. Brown III on October 8. He was released on a $5,000 bond.

• Wade Adkins, 42, was arrested and charged with child neglect causing risk of injury, DUI, possession of a controlled substance/ less than 15 grams, driving revoked for non DUI and child restraint unbuckled on October 8 by WVSP Tpr. R.L. Glaspell. He was released on a $3,000 bond.

• Roy Howard Browning, 60, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and domestic battery on October 9 by WVSP Tpr. J.G. Honaker. He was released on a $1,200 bond.

• Sabrinia Ruth Lambert, 24, was arrested and charged with obstructing an officer, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and driving suspended/revoked for non DUI on October 10 by WVSP Tpr. T.D. Boggs. She was released on a $1,200 bond.

• Brandy Nicole Messer, 20, was arrested and charged with driving suspended/revoked for non DUI, defective equipment, domestic assault and domestic battery on October 10 by WVSP Tpr. T.D. Boggs. She was released on a $1,200 bond.

• Michael Deangelo Morgan, 44, was arrested and charged with domestic battery, domestic assault and obstructing by Man PD Patrolman J. Thomas on October 10. He is being held in the Southwestern Regional Jail on a $3,500 bail.
