CHAPMANVILLE — The 2012 high school volleyball season keeps getting better and better for the Man Lady Billies.

The Man High School volleyball team surpassed the 20-win plateau on Thursday night at Chapmanville with a sweep over the homestanding Lady Tigers and Scott, both Class AA schools.

Man improved to 21-9 on the season as the Lady Billies beat Chapmanville 25-20, 25-19 and then knocked off the Lady Hawks of Scott, 25-13-26-24.

Man coach Orlando Washington said it was a good pair of wins for his team.

“The good thing about tonigh’s matches was that everyone saw action,” he said.

The Lady Billies were scheduled to travel to Buffalo on Saturday to play in the Buffalo tourney.

Man is then slated to host Class AAA county rival Logan on Monday in its home finale and Senior Night match.

“Everyone is encouraged to come out and support a good group of seniors in their last home volleyball match,” Washington said.
