CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Mr. Don Watts, 49, of Chapmanville, was born February 15, 1963, at Hamlin, a son of the late Narlis Watts Sr. and Mabel Dempsey Nelson. He passed away after a courageous battle with cancer Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston.
Mr. Watts was a truck driver and general laborer. He was a great dad, husband and provider, and gave his life to the Lord before leaving this world.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Wayne Watts and Ansel Nelson; sister, Wilma Irene Watts; nephew, Jimmy Watts, and his father and mother-in-law, Allen and Lucy Mounts.
Survivors include his wife, Quinnie Marie Mounts Watts; children, Rebecca Dawn Watts and Donnie Allen Watts, both at home; sisters, Peggy Lambert of Harts, Patricia Majic of Clendenin, Betty Scaggs and Judy Kiser, both of Branchland, Linda Mesler of Texas, Pauline Tinkham of Columbus, Ohio, Patsy Chambers of Michigan and Florene Mullins of Ferrellsburg; brothers, Elmer Nelson and Charlie Mack Nelson, both of Huntington, Narlis Watts Jr. of North Carolina and Paul Watts of Chapmanville; brothers-in-law, Johnny Ray Mounts and James Grady Mounts, both of Chapmanville, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 3, at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. David Sperry officiating. Burial will follow in the Watts Cemetery at Chapmanville.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
