Marsha Lynn Markin of Leet and Richard Allen Napier of Huntington were united in marriage on August 11, 2012 at the Chapman Memorial Freewill Baptist Church at Harts, with David Lucas, Minister, performing the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, General Peyton. Serving a maid of honor was Judy Leffingwell of Huntington, and bridesmaids were Judy McCann of Hart and

Joan Giles of Winfield, both sisters of the bride. Flower girls were Patricia and Isabella Haddox, both of Harts, and ring bearer was Tanner Brumfield of Rome, Ga.

Serving as best man was the groom’s son, Nicholas Napier of Pittsburg, Pa., and ushers were Virgil Napier of Huntington and Alex Brumfield of Rome, Ga.

Music was provided by Stephanie Brumfield of Rome, Ga.

A reception followed at the church.

The bride is the daughter of Bernie and Gladys Toney of Leet. She attended Logan High School, W.Va. Career College and Marshall University. She is an Account Tech III with Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital in Huntington.

The groom is the son of Paul and Ruth Napier of Columbus, Ohio. He attended Huntington High School, Huntington College of Business and Marshall University and is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp where he served as a Combat Engineer. He from the City of Huntington, Engineering Division, he served in Engineering Tech I.

The couple enjoyed honeymoon trip to Disney World in Orlando, Fla., and Ocean Creek Resort in North Myrtle Beach, S.C. They are making their home in Huntington.
