CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Mr. Edward O. Ferrell, 79, of Chapmanville, was born August 3, 1933, at Chapmanville, a son of the late Walter and Thermal Hainor Ferrell. He departed this life Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Trinity Health Care at Henlawson.
Mr. Ferrell was retired from Southern Bell, a member of the Telephone Pioneers, a Christian and a veteran of the US Air Force.
Also preceding him in death was his brother, Tennis Ferrell, and a nephew, Scott Ferrell.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Pauline Adams Ferrell; children, Kelley Sue (Dale) Kriens and Randy Edward (Sharon) Ferrell, both of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Tyler, Shane and Cody; step-granddaughter, Rachel Saunders, and step-grandson, Tim Kriens, also of St. Louis; brother, Wirt (Jackie) Ferrell of Orlando, Fla., and nephews, Rick, Eric and Todd Ferrell.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Tony Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens at Godby with Military Graveside Rites.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
