Woman accused of selling crack cocaine

A Logan woman was arraigned on felony charges on December 11. Kala D. Fields, 24, was arrested by members of the U.S. 119 Task Force for allegedly selling crack cocaine to an individual on March 19 at the Speedway gas station on Rt. 44. The purchased substance was sent to the W.Va. State Police Forensic Laboratory for identification.
Fields was charged with delivery of a controlled substance and released on a $5,000 bond.
In other court news:
• Christopher Lynn Spears, 56, was arrested and charged with driving while suspended/revoked for DUI, possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams, no proof of insurance, speeding and motor vehicle inspection violation on December 18 by West Virginia State Police Tpr. R.L. Glaspell. He was released on a $2,500 bond.
• Michael Paul Hunter, 37, was arrested and charged with driving suspended/revoked for non DUI, no proof of insurance, registration violation, motor vehicle inspection violation and possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams on December 18 by WVSP Tpr. S.A. Belt. He was released on a $3,000 bond.
• Michael Dwayne Cresong, 48, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and obstruction an officer on December 18 by WVSP Tpr. W.D. Walls. He was released on a $3,500 bond.
