If you have a daughter or family relative who might like to get started in the world of competitive cheerleading then mark down Jan. 26 on your calendar.

That’s when the Cheeriffic All-Star cheerleaders are scheduled to host the first ever National Cheer Camp at the West Logan Church of God Gymnasium in West Logan.

The Logan-based Cheeriffic All-Star cheerleaders brought home two U.S. Cheer National Championships last year in Orlando, Fla.

This year, the Cheeriffic All-Stars are sending three squads to the UCA Youth Nationals on March 9-10 at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.

At the camp later this month each child will receive instruction from the coaches of Cheeriffic’s No. 1-ranked Tiny Level 1 and Mini Level 2 teams during the one-day cheer and gymnastics camp.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church gym. The camp is for students ages 3-14 and the price is $30 per participant.

The camp includes an air tank for tumbling, a make-your-own cheer bow and makeup station, a dance station, a jump station, a stunt station, a cheer station, photos and more.

There will also be a concession area for children to purchase drinks and snacks.

Each camper will receive an award at the end of camp.

There will also be T-shirts for sale for $15. Other cheerleading gear will also be sold at the camp.

You can register for the camp with any Cheeriffic coach or parent. Late registration will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26 from 8:30-9 a.m. at the gym.
