HARTS, W.Va. — Lorene Dempsey Browning, 80, of Harts, went home to be with the Lord and reunite with her loving husband of 58 years, James R. Browning, Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Midland Meadows Senior Living in Ona after an extended illness.
Born July 17, 1932, at Harts, she was a daughter of the late Oba and Martha Dempsey. Also preceding her in death was a infant daughter, Avolene Browning; one precious grandson, Kyle S. Mrs. Browning was a retired cook for the Lincoln County Board of Education, a devoted Christian and member of the 14 Mile Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, working outdoors and giving back to her community. She was a loving and wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
