An arrest for shoplifting led to a warrant from 2008 being served on a Verdunville woman.
Logan City Police Dept. Officer R. Adkins responded to a call from Burke’s Outlet Store at Fountain Place Mall, where he was told Tammy Lynn Moore McCloud selected and concealed items worth $225.88 in her purse and on her person. She was stopped by store personnel and taken to the office where the items were recovered. The incident was recorded on the store’s security video.
Upon further investigation, McCloud had been arrested for shoplifting on May 10, 1986, June 30, 1984, and March 10, 2012.
The criminal complaint for the warrant that was issued was for incidents that took place between November 11, 2007, through April 29, 2008.
