The Logan County Police Department was called by Wal-Mart in reference to shoplifting incidents on January 19 and 22. Each time the officers arrived, they found an all too familiar face.

Ashlee Lambert (a.k.a. Ashley Lambert), 29, of Chapmanville was already out on bond for charges of shoplifting and fraudulent schemes at Wal-Mart on January 9, 2013. She had also faced petit larceny charges at Wal-Mart on December 14, 2012.

On January 19, the store’s security tape shows Lambert had placed an electric heater valued at $159 in a cart, then left the store without paying for it. She was charged with shoplifting.

The incident on January 22 accuses Lambert of putting a 32-inch television in a cart and walking out without paying for it. She was charged with shoplifting, fraudulent schemes and trespassing—Lambert had been advised not to be back on Wal-Mart property after one of the prior incidents. The incident was caught on the store’s security video.

After the last arrest, Lambert was also served with a warrant that was outstanding, accusing her of using Kenneth Joseph Smith’s checkbook to purchase items between July and September of 2012.
