WHITMAN, W.Va. — Ernest “Glen” Conley, 63, of Whitman, departed this life Monday, February 4, 2013, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born June 10, 1949, in Logan, he was a son of the late Clifford Mike and Dorothy Davidson Conley.
Glen enjoyed spending time with family, grandchildren and friends. He attended the 7&8 Holden church and was a NASCAR fan.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 46 years, Judy Lane Conley; three daughters, Melissa (Ernie) Spry and Tonya Conley, both of Whitman, and Glenna (William) Baisden of Holden; seven sisters, Francis Tabor of Wayne, Linda Porter and Debbie (PeeWee) Adkins, both of Dunlow, Cherry (Rick) Stollings of Holden, Peggy (Bill) Queen of Chapmanville, Nancy (Joe) Bostar of Huntington, and Barbara (Jerry) Shell of Logan; one brother, Bobby (Carol) Poinier of Coatsville, Pa.; five grandchildren, Casey Spry, Corey Glen Browning, Alex Baisden, Cameron Jabob-Gracin Spry and Will Preston Spry; one special aunt, Nay Perry, and his special friends, Ronnie and Diane Barnette.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 8, at Freeman Funeral Home with John Rodney Spears officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be William Baisden, Ronnie Barnette, Alex Baisden, Ernie Spry, Adam Barnette, Taylor Tomblin and Corey and Bruce Browning.
Honorary pallbearers are Rick Stollings, Bill Queen, Linzie Queen Sr., Ricky Stollings and Darrell Nelson.
Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
