Jack Dempsey and Doris Ray White of Danville will quietly celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Saturday in their home.
The couple was married February 16, 1948, in Russell, Ky. Doris is the daughter of the late E. Ray and Juanita Hall of 6 Mile and Jack is the son of the late J.D. and Theora White of Danville.
They are the parents of two sons, William (Sandra) of Minster, Ohio, and Bruce (Sheila) of Madison. They have been blessed with three grandchildren, Scott White, Tammy (Dan) Bock, and Mary Beth (Scott) Deck.
Their extended family includes six step-grandchildren; six great-grandsons and 16 step-great grandchildren.
