A criminal complaint filed in Logan County Magistrate Court says West Virginia State Police responded to a call at Cora in reference to a stabbing.
Officers located the accused, Joshua Valentino Tolliver, 26, of Dayton, Ohio, who told them he and the victim had been in a verbal and physical altercation during which he brandished a knife and stabbed the victim.
Tolliver has been charged with domestic assault, domestic battery and brandishing. His bond was set at $10,000.
