GREENUP, Ky. — Mrs. Beatrice Lucas Dalton, 82, of Greenup, Ky., formerly of Harts, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Our Lady of Bellefonte in Russell, Ky.

Born December 14, 1930, at Harts, she was a daughter of the late John and Jane Walker Lucas. Also preceding her in death was her loving husband, Thurll brothers, Billy Lucas, Boyce (Pat) Lucas and John Dale Lucas, and sisters, Mona (Arlie) Farley, Mayme (Billy) Toler and Bonnie Lucas.

Bea was a homemaker after teaching across Lincoln County and owning her own upholstery business. She was also a member of the Eastern Star at the Smith Lodge No. 775 at Russell.

Survivors include her son, Randy (Colene) Dalton of Worthington, Ky.; daughters, Gail (Dave) Mullins of Huntington and Tammy (Larry) Frazier of Greenup; grandchildren, Amy (Rob) Bess of Russell, Dale (Alison) Mullins of Culloden, Phillip Dalton, and Randi Gail Dalton, both of Worthington, Becki (Justin) Donnell of Amarillo, Texas, and Brad (Nina) Rose of Tampa, Fla., and 11 great-grandchildren, Riley and Katie Bess, Grant and Kyle Mullins, Colton Donnell, Jayden and Jackson Roark, Hunter and Arabella Rose, Sean, and Hayle Dalton. Bea also leaves behind a loving extended family who will cherish her memory and her two precious canine companions whom she loved dearly, Panda and Bambi.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Greg Dalton, officiating. Burial will follow at the Dalton Cemetery at Little Harts.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
