CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Mrs. Abbegail “Margie” Toler, 69, of Godby Heights, Chapmanville, was born August 9, 1943, at Switzer, a daughter of the late Anse and Ella Adkins Ellis. She departed this life Monday, April 8, 2013, at CAMC General Division at Charleston.


Mrs. Toler was a homemaker, factory worker, and construction worker, including having been a supervisor during the construction of the Chapmanville Towers. She was a member of the Godby Heights Freewill Baptist Church that her late husband pastored and had recently been attending the Victory Freewill Baptist Church.


Also preceding her in death was her husband, Rev. Ernie Toler, and brother, Wilson Lee Ellis.


Survivors include her daughters, Diane (Willie) Narvaez of Winter Haven, Fla., Mary (John) Elkins of Cana, Va., and Te-Te (Tony) Vance and Misty (Chris) Runyon, both of Chapmanville; siblings, Sis (Denny) Toler and Margaret Huffman, both of Chapmanville, and Willie (Denise) Ellis of Vermillion, Ohio; grandchildren, Geneva Byrd, David Narvaez, Benji May, Alyssa White, Marie Conley, Lydia Vance, Caleb Vance, Raechelle Runyon and Aaron Runyon; great-grandchildren, Zipporah Cook, Cory Cook Jr., Destenee Narvaez, Carter Narvaez, Dasia Narvarez, Andrea May, Haley White, Tristan White, Dallas Landry and Meagan Conley; one great-great-granddaughter, Aubrey Taylor Stewart; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.


Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Roscoe Chafin officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.


Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.


Visitation will begin one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.


Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
