The Logan Middle School softball team had no trouble on Wednesday night at Oceana as the Lady Wolves won 15-0.


Logan also took the JV game, 4-0.


Kelsey Ward pitched the first two innings in the varsity game and Stephanie Curry pitched the third and fourth. Ward had four strikeouts, while Curry fanned two.


Alison Click was 2-for-3 with an inside-the-park home run in the third to lead LMS.


Chelsea Napier was 2-for-3 with a triple and another inside-the-park homer.


Lexi Hines, Curry and Ward each had a triple.


Stephanie Eplin, Larra Elkins and Hannah Vance all had singles for Logan.


Oceana only had two hits for the varsity game.


In the JV game, Jaycee Abbott had 13 strikeouts on the hill for Logan.


“We played very well. I was pleased with how everyone played,” LMS coach Danielle Dalton said.


Logan Middle is scheduled to host Chapmanville Middle on Friday at 5:30 p.m. LMS is then at Ravenswood on Saturday at 11 a.m.
