CHAPMANVILLE — The Chapmanville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting the first Logan County Firefighter’s Ball to show appreciation to the local county firefighters. The ball will be for all 12 fire departments in Logan County.

"We would like to thank Pyles, Turner & Mick Foundation for making a generous donation to the Logan County Firefighter’s Ball," said Rebecca Burns, organizer of the event.

The Pyles, Turner & Mick Foundation is funded by proceeds received from a settlement in a mine accident causing death of a mine worker. The foundation provides small grants to non-profit agencies throughout the state of West Virginia.

If you would like to donate to the Logan County Firefighter’s Ball, contact Burns at (304) 784-5316.
