The First Baptist Church of Logan will host a morning of special choral and instrumental music Sunday, May 31, during the 11 a.m. worship service. The featured soloist is Dr. Mark Hornbaker of Charleston, a noted musician of the Charleston area and frequently featured performer in local community theater and festivals.

Dr. Hornbaker, a teacher at George Washington High School in Charleston, is also the choral director at the First Presbyterian Church in South Charleston.

Dr. J. Gregg Hickman, pastor at First Baptist, invites the public to worship and to share in this program of traditional and contemporary Christian music.

First Baptist Church of Logan, ministering to Logan and the surrounding communities since 1871, is a member of the Logan-Mingo Baptist Association, the West Virginia Baptist Convention and the American Baptist Churches USA.
