How does Logan County follow up winning two state softball titles?

The county places two teams in the baseball state tournament!

Congratulations Logan and Man for winning the sectional and regional titles and for making it all the way to state.

Logan is the defending state champs, but will be competing in 3A this season, looking to bring home the gold. Man is making its first appearance in the state tournament since 2005 and the Hillbillies are hoping to return home with the state title.

Both teams will play their opening-round games at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston.

Logan plays tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. against Martinsburg and Man plays at 7:30 p.m. against Madonna.

We hope everyone will make the drive to Charleston Thursday and Friday to watch both teams compete in the state tournament. We know both can bring home the championships to Logan County and we’ll be there rooting them on!
