BECCO, W.Va. — Sheila Ann McCoy Egnor, 54, of Becco, departed this life at her home Saturday, June 6, 2009.

Born September 22, 1954, at Crites, she was a daughter of Mrs. Ethel Jude McCoy of Amherstdale, with whom she made her home, and the late Rudolph “Doc” McCoy.

Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Lillian Whitt and Linda Cole; one sister-in-law, Diana McCoy, and nieces and nephews, Kimberly McCoy, Donald McCoy and Danny Vance II.

Sheila was a homemaker. She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother and sister who loved to travel and shop. She attended the Hunt Freewill Baptist Tabernacle and the Becco United Baptist Church.

Additionally, those left to cherish her memory include her loving daughter, Kimberly (Tom) Barr of Downers Grove, Ill.; beloved son, Richard Egnor II (fiancé Christina Smith) of Charleston; six grandchildren, Faith and Dylan Barr, Kayleigh and Jacob Egnor and, Brandon and Dustin Smith; a very special niece and nephew, Lori and Christopher Justice, whom she considered grandchildren; four brothers, James (Phyllis) McCoy of Robinette, Ronald (Therisa) McCoy of Becco, Donald (Sue) McCoy of Clear Fork and Harold (Jean Ann) McCoy of Greenville; one sister, Kathy (Jim) Dillon of North Carolina; many additional nieces and nephews, and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, at the Hunt Freewill Baptist Tabernacle with the Rev. Baxter Toler and Rev. Donald Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Carrying her to her final resting place will be her nephews, Tom and John McCoy, James, Larry, and Kevin Whitt, Michael Vance, Jim Dillon, and Robert Kinser.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to help with funeral expenses.

Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home of Man is in charge of the arrangements.
