RIDGEVIEW, W.Va. — Elizabeth D. Whitt Holsten, 66, of Camp Creek of Ridgeview, went home to be with the Lord and her loved ones Monday, June 8, 2009, at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston after a long illness.

Preceding her in death was her loving husband of 43 years, Bill Holsten; parents, Hillard and Ruth Whitt; three brothers, Charles, Manuel and Donald Whitt, and two sisters, Margaret Conley and Geneve Monroe.

Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the wife of a coal miner and was a homemaker.

Those left behind include five children, Janet Nottingham (companion Jimmy Ward) of Danville, Harold (Rosa) Holsten and Beth (Bill) Wiley, both of Camp Creek, Donna (Lou) Gehrig and Robert (Debra), both of Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Alberta (Roy) Green of Alabama, Lillian Hutcheson of Florida, and Nancy (Richard) Hickey of Arizona; two brothers, Hilliard “Lanny” (Barbara) Whitt of Hewett and Delbert (Peggy) Whitt of Florida, and a host of friends and loved ones whom she loved very much.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 11, at the Camp Creek House of Prayer with Steve Hayes and Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pineview Cemetery at Orgas.
