MAN — The Greenbranch Freewill Baptist Church will host the West Virginia State Association of Freewill Baptist Convention this Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13.

The association represents 180 Freewill Baptist churches in the state.

Friday's meeting will convene at 9 a.m. Speakers will begin at 11 a.m. and at 7 p.m. Rev. Steve Williams from Ashland, Ky. will be featured.

Saturday's meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. with speaker Rev. David Crowe of Nashville, Tenn. Crowe serves on the Home Mission Board. Speaking at 11 a.m. will be Rev. Ivan Asbury, the state moderator.

The theme for the convention is "No sowing, No reaping; Know sowing, Know reaping."

Dinner will be served both days with a breakfast at 7:30 a.m. for all ministers, deacons and their wives.

The public is welcome to attend.
