RITA — New to you shorts for a $1. New to you shoes for $2 or less. Other great prices for shirts, pants, dresses, skirts and more can be found at the Rita Mall Thrift Store.

Rita Mall Thrift Store is a bargain hunter's dream. As mentioned, they have clothing, what-nots, toys, books, purses, videos, electronics, etc., - all at great prices. Volunteers sort through generous donations, to price and stock the store.

Donations are always welcome, but Rita Mail Thrift Store does ask donations to be made during working hours to ensure donations are received. The donor can request a receipt for their records since donations are tax deductible. The Thrift Store asks that donations be clean and in good working order.

Income made from the Thrift Store funds the needs of people in the community, including the food pantry at the Logan Seventh-day Adventist Church, helping fire and flood victims with clothing, dishes and furniture (if it is available); reaching out to prisoners with religious materials; emergency needs, and other felt needs.

Visit the Rita Mall Thrift Store for great bargains, and while you shopping you can see the talented art work of a local artist, Jennifer Bays, who did an awesome job on bringing the store windows to life.

The Thrift Store can always use volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, stop by the store to fill out a simple application.

The Thrift Store is open Sunday, Monday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. -6 p.m.

For more information on the store, call 304-752-1580 or 304-583-6756.
