He was born in Man and has lived in Jacksonville for the past 23 years. He was employed with the St. Johns River Power Plant as a bulk supervisor. He was an outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing and was a loving husband and father.
Preceding him in death was his father, Robert Sias.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Audrey; sons, Richard (Sarah) Sias of Orlando, Fla., and Clayton Sias of Jacksonville; mother, Patti Sias of South Carolina; brother, Mark Sias of South Carolina; mother and father-in-law, Gallie and Beulah Lester of Huntington, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 12, in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, with Rev. Tim Lester officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday one hour prior to the service.
