CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Mr. Thomas “Tom” Lambert, 67, of Ridgeview Terrace in Chapmanville, formerly of Leet, entered into rest Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at his home surrounded by his family.

Born November 10, 1941, at Leet, he was a son of the late Clarence and Christine Ferrell Lambert.

Survivors include one daughter, Lora Lambert Jewell, son-in-law, Cayce Jewell, and two very special grandsons, Johnathan and Joshua Phillips, all of Sumter, S.C.; sisters, Vivian Hensley and Doris Ferrell, both of Leet, Irene (Ashland) Butcher of Mansfield, Ohio, and Nona (Orbie) Peyton and Sue (Sherman) Smith, all of Toney Addition; brothers, Orville “Foxie” (Irene) Lambert of Chapmanville, Vernard (Faye) Lambert of Leet, and Raymond “Jake” (Donna) Lambert of Defiance, Ohio, and a host of special nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A cremation memorial service was held at Friday, July 10, at the Toney Cemetery at Leet with Jesse Williamson officiating and Terry Lucas singing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lora Jewell, Rt. 1 Box 269, Chapmanville, WV 25508.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville served the Lambert Family.
