A local couple was arrested this week on burglary and credit card fraud charges by the West Virginia State Police.

• Randall Scott Whitt II, 31, of Mallory was arrested in Logan County by West Virginia State Police Trooper B.K. Wellman for burglary and credit card fraud on July 12. He was booked at the Southwestern Regional Jail at Holden at 3:30 a.m.

• Sherry Lynn Frye, 33, of Mallory, was arrested by Trooper Wellman for burglary and credit card fraud on July 12. She was booked at the regional jail at 5:38 a.m.

According to police reports, on June 30, Frye and Whitt allegedly broke into the home of the victim and took a purse containing $400 in cash.

The report said the accused then used the victim's LB&T check card to withdraw $400 cash from ATMs in Man and Logan. Th trooper’s report said he received and reviewed ATM surveillance video from LB&T which shows the accused using the victim's cash card to withdraw the cash.

Whitt’s criminal complaint states that video footage from the camera "shows the accused present and taking part in the crime."

• James Greg Marcum, 49, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the Logan County Sheriff's Department for public intoxication, obstructing an officer and destruction of property on July 17. He was booked at the regional jail at 3:20 a.m.

• Steven Michael Workman, 30, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County, for bond violation on July 14. He was booked at the regional jail at 2:25 p.m.

• Tommy Gordon Nickels, 48, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for domestic assault and domestic battery on July 12. He was booked at the regional jail at 1:01 p.m.

• Joshua David Mullins, 30, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the Logan County Sheriff's Department for public intoxication, obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct on July 11. He was booked at the regional jail at 2:22 a.m.

• Joseph Bradley Quick, 22, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for domestic assault and domestic battery on July 10. He was booked at the regional jail at 4:25 p.m.

• Jordan Beth Carper, 18, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the Logan County Sheriff's Department for bail piece on July 10. She was booked at the regional jail at 3:01 p.m.

• Brian Keith Boales, 49, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County, agency not listed, for obstructing an officer and public intoxication on July 9. He was booked at the regional jail at 11:20 a.m.

• Leslie Workman, 50, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the Logan Police Department for obstructing an officer and public intoxication on July 8. He was booked at the regional jail at 4:20 p.m.

• Rebecca Lynn Turner, 36, residence not listed, was arrested in Logan County by the WVSP for public intoxication on July 8. She was booked at the regional jail at 4:05 p.m.
