I just want to thank everyone who helped with the WV Freedom Festival. I was there on the fourth with some of my friends. Loved the block party! The carnival rides were fair, hope better ones next year.

There was a lady that planned on being in a contest and she was dressed like a cowgirl riding a horse. She danced a little with it on. I knew she wondered about the contest. She paid $40 for her costume. I just want to say she should have gotten some kind of recognition and I believe her feelings were hurt. If she reads this letter, you did a fine job. I wish I could have gotten her name but I was busy with grandchildren. But I hope she will be back next year.

Again, thanks to everyone who had anything to do with the festival. We had a wonderful time and plan on being there next year.
