A tree fell onto a car traveling along State Route 10 near Pecks Mill Friday around 1 p.m. According to sources at the scene, the tree crashed the windshield of the car. At least two elderly women were in the car when the tree fell, but, according to the source, no one was seriously injured. The tree blocked both lanes of Route 10 and traffic was stalled on Corridor G at the intersection of U.S. Route 119 and State Route 10. The tree also fell on power lines, cutting electricity to nearly 300 residents, an Appalachian Power worker said. Photo/Michael Browning
