Once back to Logan, the group proceeded to tour the Coalfield Jamboree Theatre and Aracoma Hotel where they were treated to appetizers provided by the hotel’s new manager, Angel Medina. The tour continued with stops at Smith House Bed and Breakfast, the new Chief Logan Recreational Center, Chief Logan Lodge and Conference Center, and the Logan County Farmer’s Market. The tour ended with a stop in Chief Logan State Park where tours of the Museum in the Park, Wildlife Center, and Liz Spurlock Amphitheatre were given and the tour group was presented with “A Taste of Logan” picnic and musical performance by local musician, Roger Bryant.
Those who participated on the tour from the West Virginia Division of Tourism were Donna Briggs, Lee Smith, Jacob Haught, Debbie Sparks, Cliff Isaacs and Kathy Johnson.
