WILLIAMSON — The Mingo County Sheriffs Department arrested a woman Monday after a video of two local juvenile’s fighting surfaced on the video web site www.YouTube.com.

According to the criminal complaint filed in Mingo County Magistrate Court, Rebecca Hall, of Varney, drove a male juvenile to Chamber’s Curve on U.S. Route 52 near the community of Pie to have an altercation with another male juvenile.

The fight was filmed and put on the web site, but has since been taken down.

Mingo County Sheriff’s deputies obtained warrants for Hall’s arrest, but she turned herself in to police on Monday.

The actual video on www.youtube.com was entitled “Street Fight at Chamber’s Curve edited” and depicted a disturbing fight between the two males.

The video had theme music and was enhanced with special effects comparable to the 1960’s “Batman” television show featuring words like “ka-pow” and “splat” in starbursts.

Police said that in the video Hall appeared to be encouraging the juveniles to fight. The fight is so dangerously near the highway that at times you can view on the video Hall standing on U.S. Route 52 as she watches the fight.

Hall was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and was arraigned in front of Mingo Magistrate Pam Newsome who set bond at $1,000.
