Born February 11, 1926, in Emmet, he moved to Florida in 1958 from Switzer. He was predeceased by his parents, five sisters and one brother,
He was a member of Riverwalk Church of God, Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Coal Miners Union. He had served in the U.S .Marines.
Survivors include two daughters, Marian (Darrell) Benge and Diane (Tim) Turner; sister, Money Ruth “Boots” (Noah) King; grandchildren, Cynthia (Laurence) Evans, Cennifer (Denny) Clayton, Valerie (Jason) Ward, Chhstopher Muse, Michael Rosendahl, Jessica Rosendahl and Jimmy Rosendahl; great-grandchildren, Soren Evans, Noah Evans, Logan Clayton, Julia Clayton, Jack Ward, Trent Ward and one due in February, and his loving CNAS, Wanda Johnson, Sharon McCloud and Jay Riveria.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, at the Riverwalk Church of God. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Oaklawn Chapel of Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home.
