Several local residents indicted

A Logan County grand jury has handed down over a dozen indictments against local residents on a variety of charges according to documents from Logan County Circuit Court. Several of the September indictments were for DUI and related charges.

In the Circuit Court of Judge Roger Perry:

• Jacob Allen Adkins, also known as Jacob Keith Adkins was indicted for third offense DUI. Dwayne Adkins was appointed as attorney. $7,500 bond was posted.

•Michael Chafin was indicted for malicious wounding. Don Wandling was appointed as attorney. $5,000 surety bond was posted.

• Terry E. Chafin was indicted for three counts of wanton endangerment, grand larceny, shooting across a road and two counts of domestic assault. Mark Hobbs was appointed as attorney. Defendant is in the Southwestern Regional Jail. $150,000 bond was set.

• Christopher M. Frye was indicted for breaking and entering, grand larceny and conspiracy to commit breaking and entering. Dwayne Adkins was appointed as attorney. No bond information was listed.

• Paul Jenkins was indicted for DUI causing bodily injury, no insurance, failure to maintain control and obstructing an officer. Don McDaniel was appointed as attorney. No bond information was listed.

• Joshua S. Runyon was indicted for burglary, attempted grand larceny an conspiracy to commit burglary. Dwayne Adkins was appointed as attorney. No bond information was listed.

• Michelle Vance was indicted for seven counts of forgery and seven counts of uttering. Donna Pratt was appointed as attorney. $25,000 surety bond was posted.

• Tennis Ray Vance was indicted for felony destruction of property. Don McDaniel was appointed as attorney. $5,000 surety bond was posted.

• James D. Vickers was indicted for third offense DUI. Dwayne Adkins was appointed as attorney. No bond information was listed.

• Benjamin Allen Wheatley was indicted for child abuse resulting in injury and battery. Dwayne Adkins was appointed as attorney. $5,000 cash bond was set -10 percent was posted.

•Chad Neil Williams was indicted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, brandishing a deadly weapon and shooting across a road or near a building. No attorney was appointed. No bond was listed.

In the Circuit Court of Judge Eric O'Briant:

• Shirley Adams was indicted on two counts of forgery, two counts of uttering and obtaining goods by false pretenses. Marsha Dalton was appointed as attorney. $10,000 surety bond was posted.

• Jason Browning was indicted on third offense driving revoked or suspended for DUI. Donna Pratt was appointed as attorney. $5,000. surety bond was posted.

• Jason Warren Browning was indicted for third offense driving revoked or suspended for DUI, and vehicle not to operate without required equipment or in unsafe condition. Donna Pratt was appointed as attorney. $5000 bond recognizance bond was posted.

• Andrewiena Corathers was indicted on six counts of forgery and six counts of uttering. Dwayne Adkins was appointed as attorney. $4000 Public Recognizance bond was posted.

• Charles David Fillinger Jr. was indicted on malicious assault. Dwayne Adkins was appointed as attorney. $7,500 surety bond was posted.

• Mary Ann Jones was indicted for third offense DUI, driving on a suspended license, no insurance, failure to maintain control, destruction of property, leaving the scene of an accident and obstructing an officer. No attorney was appointed. No bond information was listed.

• William Lawson was indicted on DUI causing bodily injury, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy. Todd Forester was appointed as attorney. $10,000 bond was posted.

• William T. Lawson Jr. was indicted for delivery of a schedule II controlled substance. Todd Forester was appointed as attorney. $10,000 bond was posted.

• Glen T. Long was indicted for burglary and receiving stolen property. Don McDaniel was appointed as attorney. $10,000 bond was posted.

• Franklin Derrick Maynard was indicted for DUI causing bodily injury, possession of a schedule i, III and IV controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy. No attorney was appointed. No bond information was listed.

• Okey Newsome was indicted for grand larceny. Gerald Merceruio was appointed as attorney. Defendant is incarcerated in the Southwestern Regional Jail on charges from Cabell County.

• Clinton J. Perry was indicted for embezzlement. Mike Blevins was appointed as attorney. $5,000 personal recognizance bond was posted.

• William Sumpter was indicted for third offense DUI. Dwayne Adkins was appointed as attorney. No bond information was listed.

•Anthony David Turner was indicted for forgery, uttering and grand larceny. No attorney was appointed. No bond information was listed.

•Chawndala Nicole Vincent was indicted for DUI causing death. Dwayne Adkins was appointed as attorney. $25,000 surety and cash bond was posted.

•Randall Whitt was indicted for burglary (daytime) and grand larceny. Todd Forester was appointed as attorney. $7,500 bond was posted.

I hope the indictment charges on Paul Jenkins are wrong I am Jason Ball's older sister and I was under the impression he would be charged with my brothers death if Paul jenkins had been in jail for his prior methlab bullsh#* my brother would be alive and that scumbag would be doing time instead of killing people also I hold his mom accountable for giving her son the key to her car she should be indicted also
