I think the Buffalo Creek Watershed Association should be commended for their efforts in cleaning up trash along the road, creek banks, and creek beds here on Buffalo Creek. I've noticed a big improvement in the amount of trash along the roads, however, I still see people throwing out their trash wherever they want along the road and creek banks.

I don't know how many times Buffalo Creek was stocked with fish this past spring and summer through the efforts of the watershed association, but I know a lot of people benefited from what they've accomplished. From what I understand, nearly one hundred boys and girls received fishing rods and tackle boxes through the efforts of the watershed association earlier this spring. I think the businesses that donated money to these efforts should be commended for helping the community they do business in.

I think what they're doing for this area is a great way to help the community and young people. Try to support them through donations and volunteering to help whenever you can.
