MAN – The Chapmanville Regional High School girls’ volleyball team improved to 11-6 on the season with Wednesday night’s 3-0 win at county rival Man.

The Lady Tigers won 25-10 in the first game, then took a 25-14 decision in Game 2. Chapmanville took the match with a 25-22 win in the third game.

Man, coached by Orlando Washington, dropped to 6-12 on the season.

“Even though we lost, Bryanna Donahue continues to play well,” he said.

The Lady Billies are scheduled to return to action on Monday in a tri-match at Wyoming East against the host Lady Warriors and Bluefield. Man then hosts Montcalm next Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Chapmanville, coached by Angie Willis, hosts Logan and Point Pleasant tonight at 6 p.m. in a tri-match.
