Lady Billies drop two matches

NEW RICHMOND – The Man High School girls’ volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on Monday night at Wyoming East.

Man lost 25-18, 27-25 to Bluefield, then lost to host Wyoming East, 25-23, 25-15.

Summer Sword and Tabitha Ferguson led the Lady Billies against Bluefield as the pair had nine points each.

Keshia Cline finished with 11 points in the match against the Lady Warriors.

Man dropped to 6-14 on the season with the two losses.

The Lady Billies are coached by Orlando Washington.

Man is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday night at home against Montcalm.

Match time is slated for 6 p.m. at the Man Memorial Fieldhouse.
